Newcomer Muhammad Mohd Faudzi, who left Terengganu to join Kuala Lumpur City this season, felt despondent following the 3-2 reverse faced by the City Boys, at the hands of Kedah Darul Aman, last Wednesday in Alor Setar.
In a WhatsApp mobile application conversation with The Voice of The City Boys, Amad as he goes by among his teammates mentioned that “I am disappointed that I couldn’t help our team register our first win”.
It was his debut for the City Boys, and he went on saying “It isn’t easy to break into the first eleven, as other players have also shown plenty of positives in practice”.
When queried if he was fitting in well with life in the city, the former bedrock of the Turtles, who featured in 14 of their matches last season, quickly praised the environment of his new home, “All players here have provided good guidance and healthy competition in training. I know many of them, we played together before”.
He added, “This is no problem for me to adapt to a new team. I’m settling in well”.
The 26-year-old Taiping born spent 6 years in Terengganu, rising through the ranks from youth to both the second and first senior squads, before establishing himself as a dependable regular.
