Kuala Lumpur City’s Kevin Koubemba was delighted to finally open his tally in the Malaysian scene, but couldn’t hold back his disappointment with the result, as the City Boys crashed to a 3-2 defeat against Kedah Darulaman in Alor Setar, last Wednesday.
Speaking to The Voice of The Boys, the 6ft. 3in. the Congolese forward, said, “I’m happy for my first goal but of course when you see the final result I’m disappointed.”.
He further added that he was unperturbed by the weight of expectations hanging on his shoulders, “No I don’t feel any pressure at all. I’m just focused on my task and the goals will come”.
The 28-year-old featured for Congo’s national team in 2014 and he was in their provisional squad for the African Cup of Nations in 2015.
