16 May AFF ASEAN CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP ‘aka’ Shopee Cup
The draw for the 2024/25 AFF ASEAN Club Championship aka Shopee Cup was held on 2/5/2024 in Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon), Vietnam.
KLC was automatically placed in Group B with Buriram United (Thailand), Cong An Ha Noi (Vietnam), Borneo (Indonesia), Kaya Iloilo (Philippines), Lion City Sailors (Singapore).
The group stage is held on a single robin. Top 2 teams in the group stage, advance to the semi-finals (2-leg aggregate H & A), before the final (same format as semi’s).
KLC’s schedule is as follows,
22/8 vs Kaya Iloilo, ‘Home’
26/9 vs Borneo ‘Home’
9/1/25 vs Lion City Sailors, ‘Away’
23/1/25 vs Cong An Ha Noi, ‘Home’
6/2/25 vs Buriram United, ‘Away’
As mentioned before this, Shopee Cup Home fixtures are not covered by the B2 City Boys & UltraSavers membership. The top-up amount required for these 3 Homers will be advised later as implemented during the 2022 AFC Cup.
